Stop the crunches , they don't work !

Summer coming up and you've been working out for a month, to get that slamming summer body. Before you hit the bed you decide to do some crunches, convincing yourself its for the best and you'll look great in the end. Finally it hits you there isn't any progress.

The Four Important Things To Remember !
 ONE: We have a curved spines already this makes sense because as students or career wise people, we spend time hunched over computers or steering wheels driving. We don't notice but already cause our spines to flex. This isn't good and some might know this fact already but doing crunches makes the situation worst and why should we harm our bodies when we want to better them. The only way to better our position is to do certain workouts that correct the spine.
TWO: You might hear the word abs or core, the funny thing about crunches is they only work your upper abs and that's pretty much it. I always use to complain whenever I saw those workout infomercials talking about ab-workouts. I can understand now because I understand where they are coming from when the certain companies say how poorly crunches are. To fix the crunches problem, instead of focusing on the abs; focus on your entire core, which is made up of the four layers of the abs (rectus abdominis, external and internal obliques, and transverse abdominis), hip flexors, spine extensors, hip adductors (inner-thigh muscles), hip abductors (including gluteus medius), and multifidus.
THREE: Staying in one place isn't always good, so switch it up and move around.

FOUR: For those who are mistaken by the fact you have to work out to get rid of belly fat. Sorry to bust your bubble, but that's just not going to cut it. Figure it like this, the more you in take the more you have to burn so exercise more and eat less.

Fast Food Drinks Healthy ?

When I saw this article I kind of was interested in it. I know many people are concerned about fast food and the harmful effects, but not all of their products are that bad. There are some fast food restaurant that don't have a drive through that are beneficial. Of course I'm not talking about food, but drinks like coffee, ice teas , and smoothies. 


Number One
Good Ol' Starbucks Espresso

I know what your thinking, but Hey! espresso isn't that bad well at least not Starbucks' coffee. Their caffeine only has about 75 milligrams, per cup that is brewed. So basically a espresso verses a tall coffee is much more healthier than a cup of coffee. Well I'm not benefiting because I'm not a advent coffee drinker, but if espresso is healthier than let's go with that choice. :)

Number Two
Juicy Jumba Juice

For sure I know Jumba juice is healthy, with all their products they use, even up to their sweets and food they pride them self to use fresh products as veggies and fruits. When I go to Jumba Juice, I like to try different drinks with different types of fruits. So if your in the mood for some fresh fruit, I suggest Jumba Juice; they are always about fresh and keeping the earth green.

Number Three
Einsteins Bros Bagels- Medium Iced Latte 

Well I've never heard of this place nor do I know where it's located, but I do love bagels maybe one of these days I'll check it out. But the matter of the point is their featured drink Medium Iced Latte. I like cold drinks preferably frappacinos, they give me a small addiction.  Lattes are around the same as a frappacino, they are both cold and caffeinated. The best way to keep it healthy and tasty is to add nonfat milk and it will save you some calories. But who is really concerned about calories, lol I know for sure I am not.

Number Four
McDonald's Non Fat Latte, I'm Lovin It

Good Ol' McDonald's, what can I say about Mickey D's ? Well I agree their coffee isn't that bad,but I really don't care for their ice coffee. I never have tried their latte, the appearance is pretty appealing. So, do you ever feel like your going to have one of those long Monday mornings? Well try going to McDonald's and ordering a low calorie drink as in small nonfat latte. Pair it with a Fruit and Maple Oatmeal for a hearty breakfast or an order of Apple Dippers with Low-fat Carmel Dip for a satisfying snack. Now you can say I'm Lovin It.

Number Five
Seattle's Best , Small Nonfat Chai Latte
I personally like Seattle's Best coffee very delightful and tasty. I'm looking forward to trying the chai latte, I am a big tea fan so, lets try it. And the best part of the chai is it isn't dairy for you lactose intolerant. It's still a tasty and healthy.

I have a feeling I saw this Before

Well as many of you saw the Superbowl halftime show, many people complained how there wasn't any originality. I don't blame them, well first off Black Eyed Peas are known for their futuristic music,wararobe, and personalities. Their current music has been a mixture of house and pop. I would have expected them to do something have would live their audience with a question mark.

Another thing that makes me upset is Usher makes an apperance, but he's performs for at least a min and some sections. The whole show was a rewinded segment of their old songs, come on people it's 2011 ! Why can't artist step up their skills in performing? I'm pretty sure we didn't wanted to hear some old material. The Packers even stepped their game up, and a big congrats to them for winning the championship.
