http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/beauty/the-most-counterfeited-brands-of-the-season-and-how-to-avoid-getting-ripped-off-2424971/

In Response To The Link:

Christmas is around the corner and people like to purchase the finer things in life. Some people like to buy designer bags, designer shoes, or even jewelry. But going into the shopping season, shoppers and spenders need to be aware of the knock-offs and counterfeit items that are being passed around as legit products. This type of problems have been happening for years. Now that Christmas is swiftly arriving shoppers be prepared to be bamboozled buy cheap presentable brands. In case you are not a shopper who likes to go out but shop online, EBay and SiteJabber provide information to what website has knock-offs and what the site is rated.

The reason why people need to be alerted about these things are because buying knockoffs leaves room for scamming. Be careful when purchasing anything without checking the store's return policy. In case there is still no way to figure out helpful sites list ten items that are said to be the most knock-out brands in 2010:

  1. UGGs
  2. Coach handbags and leather items
  3. Tiffany's
  4. Athletic jerseys
  5. Perfume
  6. Nike sneakers (especially Air Yeezy and Air Jordans)
  7. Ed Hardy and Juicy brands
  8. Watches (like Rolex, Omega, and Tag Heuer)
  9. North Face
  10. DVDs (especially box sets of TV series)

Lost In Riverside

Two weeks ago I had a concert in Riverside, I carpooled with some of the girls in the New Song choir. We were already late for the call time but on top of that we were lost in Riverside. If there was a way to yell at a GPS I would of did it. It's one thing to show us the long way but to show us the wrong location had us frustrated. I thought maybe the Android could help us, since according to Verizon it's the new iPhone some people say. The thought that kept running through my mind was where's the church and why are we at a park? The whole situation was irritating and had kept me paranoid.

Plan B
Twenty minutes pass by and we were ending up in the same place. I decided to call one of the advisor in choir and ask for directions, not a good choice when your the type of person who is terrible with directions. We finally get the correct directions, but I couldn't remember what she just said so I am panicking and and trying to remember every word. After panicking we start getting somewhere, but we end up in the same location. At this point I'm figuring that we'll be late for the concert and facing consequences. Another phone call is made and were on track to the church. It took us 2 minutes to arrive to the church instead of 20 minutes and we were racing to the dressing room. So basically we made it to the concert before the concert started.

Why I hate carpooling?
The reason why I hate carpooling when we have a concert is MapQuest,GPS, and other device don't always lead you to the correct location. Second when I can't control what time  I arrive somewhere I become very paranoid and irritated. Why carpool when the school provides transportation to all our other concerts except ones nearby? It might sound silly to you but this makes perfect logic to myself. But in the end I am greatful.

Sing A Song: Do, Re, Mi

It has been a month since I've been in the school choir, it has it's up and downs. The positive thing about choir is that I've met so many cool girls. And of course there's the negative standing for two hours striaght with no breaks every Tuesdays and Thursdays. With hard work comes great quality :). New Song has made me want to become a better friend and a singer. Sometimes singing a song helps never know when you need a little Do,Re,Mi.

What is New Song? New Song would be a mixture of Male's Chorale and Women's Choir mixed together. New Song sings hymns, gospel, contemporay, and many more genres of christian music. I always thought it would be hard to sing in a all female group but there's 4 sections, first sapranos, second sapranos, first altos, and second altos. All the girls in the choir are talented and unique. When I think about New Song I think of someone singing a new song to God for all the blessings he has done and plans on doing.

Commitment means a pledge or promise. Being in New Song or any other music group, commitment means alot to me because I promised God and myself that I would use my voice to the best of my ability. Every two weeks when I step into the music building  I'm ready to get to business. Who wouldn't want to sing with happy go lucky girls who support each other? In New Song were a big family and a strong unit that sticks togetherno matter what. So at the end of your day whats your song gonna be? I Know Mine :).

One of New Song's favorite songs to sing, My Life is in His Hands By Kirk Franklin.

Wondering what it looks like with 90 plus girls?
