Lost In Riverside

Two weeks ago I had a concert in Riverside, I carpooled with some of the girls in the New Song choir. We were already late for the call time but on top of that we were lost in Riverside. If there was a way to yell at a GPS I would of did it. It's one thing to show us the long way but to show us the wrong location had us frustrated. I thought maybe the Android could help us, since according to Verizon it's the new iPhone some people say. The thought that kept running through my mind was where's the church and why are we at a park? The whole situation was irritating and had kept me paranoid.

Plan B
Twenty minutes pass by and we were ending up in the same place. I decided to call one of the advisor in choir and ask for directions, not a good choice when your the type of person who is terrible with directions. We finally get the correct directions, but I couldn't remember what she just said so I am panicking and and trying to remember every word. After panicking we start getting somewhere, but we end up in the same location. At this point I'm figuring that we'll be late for the concert and facing consequences. Another phone call is made and were on track to the church. It took us 2 minutes to arrive to the church instead of 20 minutes and we were racing to the dressing room. So basically we made it to the concert before the concert started.

Why I hate carpooling?
The reason why I hate carpooling when we have a concert is MapQuest,GPS, and other device don't always lead you to the correct location. Second when I can't control what time  I arrive somewhere I become very paranoid and irritated. Why carpool when the school provides transportation to all our other concerts except ones nearby? It might sound silly to you but this makes perfect logic to myself. But in the end I am greatful.
